Virgin Atlantic unveils its revamped lounge at Heathrow – with new cinema, work pods and SPA

Virgin Atlantic Reimagines Heathrow Lounge with Cinema, Work Zones, and Wellness Hub

The airline has launched a redesigned Clubhouse at London Heathrow, introducing a cinema section, exclusive workspaces, and a new spa area for travelers to unwind.

As part of an ongoing transformation, Upper Class passengers now have access to more refined amenities and tailored services within the ground-level lounge.

The London hub’s latest addition, the Royal Box, delivers a lavish VIP atmosphere inspired by the theatricality of high-end event spaces.

This invite-only zone offers secluded seating with signature red velvet sofas and a unique centerpiece—a ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ showcasing artisanal sweets and champagne.

Two private Work Pod studios have been integrated, equipped with modern desks, built-in power outlets, and illuminated signs to indicate availability.

These spaces also feature retro-inspired artwork, such as framed vinyl records, echoing Virgin Atlantic’s music heritage.

Cinema Redesign for Immersive Relaxation

The Clubhouse’s cinema has been overhauled into a cozy, immersive environment for quiet escapes.

Enhanced acoustics, royal blue armchairs, and red seating options now complement the area, which includes wireless charging and Bluetooth-enabled headphones.

Wellness Experiences for On-the-Go Travelers

Two pop-up wellness installations have been added, offering therapeutic sessions designed to refresh passengers quickly.

These include light therapy, sound healing, and meditation-focused domes, with sessions available until 31 May.

Meanwhile, the Secret Spa is providing treatments such as quick massages and facials through April 30.

To celebrate its new Seoul route, guests can also experience skincare from OSKIA, OPI nail services, and Korean beauty products.

“The Clubhouse remains a defining element of the Virgin Atlantic journey, and this renovation marks a fresh era at Heathrow,” said Juha Jaervinen, Chief Customer Officer.

Jaervinen emphasized the blend of wellness, entertainment, and design innovation, highlighting upcoming plans like a rooftop terrace for skywatching.

Expanded seating options cater to diverse needs, with dedicated areas for business travelers, groups, and couples, while brass accents and bespoke art reflect London’s cultural and transport legacy.
