Bronny James sets up father LeBron in Lakers win
Bronny James Makes Historic Assist to LeBron in Lakers Victory
The Los Angeles Lakers secured a 119-103 triumph over the Golden State Warriors, with a remarkable moment occurring when Bronny James executed the first father-to-son assist in NBA history. At 19 years old, Bronny stole the ball and passed it to his father, LeBron, who showcased his veteran prowess by driving to the basket for an uncontested dunk. This play was part of LeBron’s standout performance, which included 26 points, alongside Bronny’s 10 points and three assists.
The historic assist came during a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets last month, marking a significant milestone for the James family. The Lakers’ victory further solidified their position as the fourth seed in the Western Conference, while the Warriors remain in 10th place. Both teams have already clinched spots in the playoffs, set to begin on 18 April.
Other Notable Matchups
Elsewhere in the league, the New York Knicks edged out the Boston Celtics 112-106, with Josh Hart scoring 26 points to challenge the Celtics’ standing in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets recorded decisive wins, defeating the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers respectively, to boost their playoff hopes. In games involving teams no longer in contention, the Chicago Bulls overcame the Washington Wizards 119-108, and the Indiana Pacers crushed the Brooklyn Nets 123-94.
WNBA Expansion Plans
