Law enforcement officials confirmed that a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted by several men outside a church in Surrey. The incident took place after she left the Labyrinth Epsom nightclub, with the attack reportedly happening between 2:00 and 4:00 BST on Saturday. The location is believed to be the Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road.

Sources indicate the victim was followed shortly after exiting the nightclub and subjected to an assault. Det Insp Aine Matthews emphasized the emotional impact of the event, stating that “this is an extremely distressing incident and the victim is receiving support from specialist officers.” The police are currently working to identify the individuals involved.

“Our investigation is in its early stages,” Matthews added. “We are actively gathering information to build a clearer understanding of the suspects and will provide updates as soon as possible.”

The police are seeking statements from anyone who was present in the area during the specified time frame. They specifically mentioned a woman in her 20s who appeared to be in distress. Witnesses are encouraged to reach out with any relevant details.
