Collision in Flitwick leaves family in mourning
A 13-year-old boy, Noah Campbell, died in a tragic accident involving a car, bike, and scooter in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, at 23:50 BST on Friday. Two other teenagers were seriously injured and taken to hospital. The family described him as “fun, bright, handsome, athletic” and “incredibly well-liked” in a statement released by the police.

Two charged in connection with the crash
Policemen confirmed that a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been charged over the incident. Jamie Fountain, of Fir Tree Close, Flitwick, faces charges of causing death by careless driving and causing death by careless driving while over the legal limit for alcohol and drugs. He is also accused of two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving. Additionally, he was charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report it, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Ellie Ireland, from Wingate Drive, Ampthill, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Both individuals are scheduled to appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Injured boys’ conditions update
Police confirmed that one of the two boys hospitalized remains in a serious condition, while the other was treated for severe injuries and has since been discharged.
