Woman, 19, killed in dog attack at house

A 19-year-old woman was fatally injured in a dog attack at a property in Essex. Emergency crews responded to Long Hide, a location in the village of Leaden Roding near Dunmow, at 10:45 PM BST on Friday. They discovered the victim with life-threatening wounds, according to Essex Police.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics and first responders attempted to save her. A 37-year-old man from Dunmow was detained on suspicion of allowing a dog to act dangerously out of control, causing severe harm. The animal was confiscated, and specialized officers secured the area to prevent further risks.
